Nancy Pinard is the author of two novels, Shadow Dancing (Disc-Us Books, 2000) and Butterfly Soup (Next, 2006). Her short stories have appeared in Beloit Fiction Journal, Thema, Dos Passos Review et al, and have been anthologized by The Paper Journey Press and Spinsters Ink. Her novel in manuscript, Sandwalk, a fictional biography of Charles Darwin’s family life is currently being shopped to editors.
A 2005 graduate of the Queens University MFA program, she has taught fiction writing at Sinclair Community College, at the University of Daytons Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, at the Mad Anthony Writers Conference, and at the Antioch Writers Workshop, where she has served on the board and continues as a faculty recruiter. This blog, about her research for an in-progress novel about Einsteins first marriage, has attracted the attention of readers at home and abroad, including a London physics professor.
